<p>PURPOSE:To rationalize loading operation and also to give a tape required tension by providing a brake arm, which relates to a tension arm, near a supply side reel turntable. CONSTITUTION:Near supply side reel turntable 4 of the magnetic recording and reproducing device, brake arm 33 that relates to tension arm 20 is provided, but brake arm 33 is equipped with band brake 23 and brake shoe 37. In loading magnetic tape T, brake shoe 37 is braked in contact with supply side reel turntable 4 and on the loading, the braking is released. Further, tension arm 20 is displaced in the operation direction and the required back tension is given to magnetic tape T that is led out of the supply reel with band brake 23.</p> |
