<p>The storage unit for printing rollers, esp. photogravure cylinders, takes up the min. amount of space using a computer-controlled stacking system requiring only one operator. At least two groups of frame-like cassettes are positioned above or next to one another each of which accommodates several rollers and is movable within the outer frame. A transport frame or life is movable to-and-fro in front of and behind the groups and can receive the cassettes which have rollers running on rails in the frame. Swivel levers engage on the rearmost cassette in the direction of movement and enable the complete group to be displaced by the width of a cassette.</p> |
