Desalination unit partly evaporating sea-water - uses steam driving turbine and outlet steam condenser cooled by incoming water producing fresh water

The de-salination unit comprises a pump (9) drawing in seawater (2), heating panels (6) which partly evaporate the seawater to produce a saturated solution (8) and steam (5), a turbine (3) driven by the steam, and a condenser in counterflow with the incoming seawater to produce fresh water (1). The turbine drives generators (4) part of whose output is used for seawater evaporation and for driving the pump.
