The present invention relates to a powder toner for a laser printer which comprises a powdery ceramic inorganic pigment having an average particle diameter of 100 nm~10 μm, and a static electricity-inducing material including an organosilane and polyester coated on the surface of the powdery ceramic inorganic pigment, wherein the organosilane includes at least one silane selected from gamma-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane, 3-(N-phenylamino)propyltrimethoxysilane, 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane, GN-octyltriethoxysilane, bis(3-triethoxysilylpropyl)tetrasulfide, phenyltris(methylethylketoximino)silane and methyltris(methylethylketoximino)silane. The present invention also relates to a method for preparing the powder toner for a laser printer. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide electrostatic force required for a laser printer by coating a ceramic inorganic pigment with a static electricity-inducing material, and to realize excellent mechanical properties, a high resolution and high precision. |
