<p>The roller (1) has a bush part (9), through the casing of which there is a plurality of pins (10). Each of the pins (10) consists of a cylindrical main part (13) and of a narrowing tooth part (14) which projects from the bush casing and which terminates in a tip. The toothed parts (14) are provided with a hard covering (15) made of abrasion-resistant material, for example ceramic or hard metal, especially chromium carbide. The toothed parts grasping the fibres are thus abrasion-resistant in respect of wear caused by the fibres. <IMAGE></p> |
