<p>The drive suspension is used especially in passenger motor vehicles with front mounted engines. The drive system is fitted into a tunnel under a stiff passenger compartment. The drive output is arranged on a drive bridge held in turn on the tunnel. The vehicle floor together with tunnel are not raised vertically when vehicle collapses in collision. The fastening arrangement is able to slide along vehicle longitudinal axis on frontal collision. The fastening arrangement slides on slots (8, 9) and guide profiles (6, 7) arranged internally. These guide profiles are held on drive tunnel (3) by support plates (10, 11).</p> |
