Rotary internal combustion engine - has rotor disc with venturi passage between air inlet and outlet openings

The motor has a casing forming a circular cylinder. The rotor (2) is in the form of a disc on the end of a shaft (2') and revolves in the cylinder. The rotor disc has air inlets (Oa) on one side. Each inlet communicates by means of a passage (P) within the disc with an air outlet (Oe) on the other side of the disc. The passage is in the form of a venturi and fuel is admitted to it at the venturi throat. The fuel enters through channels in the shaft (2'). The fuel air mixture is discharged from the air outlet into a combustion chamber in the cylinder. The reaction of the burning gases on the rotor disc produces the turning moment.
