PURPOSE:To reduce manufacturing cost in manufacturing a bumper and also reduce manufacturing space by properly replacing and changing an insert block incorporated in a part of a die and changing and forming a notch position of a muffler to the left and right with the car width direction as a center by means of a pair of dies. CONSTITUTION:A die consists of a cavity mold 5 disposed on the outside of a rear bumper 1 and a core mold 6 disposed inside a designing channel forming insert block 7 separated from the core mold 6 and a notch forming insert block 8 can be mounted selectively on positions A and B of a designing channel 2. For a section to form a notch section 3 on a rear bumper on an intervention section to insert through an exhaust pipe, the notch forming insert block 8 is mounted in place of the designing channel forming insert block 7 of the core 6, while the designing channel forming insert block 7 is used for the opposite side in which the exhaust pipe is not inserted through. Two different kinds of rear bumpers integrated with skirt which form the notch section 3 in the different positions can be molded by means of a pair of dies by this arrangement. |
