<p>New substd. 1,2-dihydro- 2,3,1 -diazoborine cpds. are of formula (I) (where Y is H or a monovalent equiv. of a cation; and A is (i) an opt. mono- or polysubstd. annellated benzene, naphthalene, pyrrole, thiophene or furan, and R1 is alkyl or a mono or polynuclear aromatic carbocyclic or heterocyclic gp. opt. mono or polysubstd. with alkyl, alkylthio, acylamino, halogen, NH2 or NO2, (ii) mono or polysubstd. anneallated benzene 1-substd. anneallated pyrrole or a substd. annellated furan; and R1 is alkyl or phenyl opt. mono or poly substd. with lower alkyl NO2, amino, lower acylamino or halogen, (iii) an annellated thiophene gp. opt. substd. with Br or lower alkyl, and R' is alkyl, or (iv) thiophene substd. with Br, and R' is phenyl opt. mono or polysubstd. with lower alkyl, NO2, amino, layer acylamino or halogen). (I) and their pharmacologically acceptable acid addn. salts of flow toxicity have chemotherapeutic properties. (I) are also antimycotics effective in vitro against mycetes (e.g. Trichophyton quinckeanum, Aspergillus fumigatus). (I) are also effective against protozoa, esp. against Trichomonades.</p> |
