PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for an additional mechanism for adjusting an apparatus for the intermittent feeding of a webshaped workpiece in accordance with various thicknesses of a web by constituting the pivot axis of a pair of arms so as to coincide with the rotation axis of a pressing roller generally supported by at least a rocker at one rocking position of the rocker. CONSTITUTION: A driving shaft 11 is rotated to rockingly move a roller 10. The movement is transferred to a rod 7 through a lever 9. Downward moving of the rod 7 pulls down a rocker 4 against force by a spring, downwardly pivoting the rocker 4 around a pin 15 and toward a web 43. In addition, continuously moving the rod 7 downwadly leads interlocking between supplying rollers 2, 3 to the center of the rotation of the rocker 4. The result pushes up a pressing lever 46. A pin 15 translationally moves in a rectangular hole 16. The rollers 2, 3 come into contact with the web 43 during the course of the above movement to advance the web 43. Accordingly, the rod 7 starts upward movement, the pressing lever 46 starts downward movement again, and the web 43 stops at a projected part 45. A roller 3 is then lifted off. |
