" FEED CONVEYOR FOR LOOSE MATERIALS" : This invention relates to a feed conveyor for loose materials. The conveyor according to the invention is of the type in which a flexible feed cable has a plurality of radial scraper blades, each of which have a central portion and a pair of tubular sleeve elements extending axially along the feed cable from both sides of said central portion, each tubular sleeve element having a support section associated therewith and the blades being interspaced by a distance sufficient to comprise a portion of exposed or bare cable between facing tubular sleeve elements or adjacent blades. The improvement consists in that the sum of said support section of each of said pairs of adjacent sleeve elements is grater than the length of exposed or bare cable therebetween. |
