PURPOSE:To provide a method of manufacturing discharge lamp, in which laser beam is used in sealing end portion of a tubular body of discharge lamp with a cap, whereby the lamp manufacturing system can be simplified, and at the same time, defective sealing or deviation in pressure of rare gas in the discharge lamp can be effectively prevented. |
