The fuse box frame is mounted on the wall, and the box has several elongated supports holding one or several fixed sockets to be connected with wires. The box is protected by a plate with holes for the sockets, which can be removed from the frame. The supports are at a distance from the back of the frame, leaving a space for the wires. Supports (18) are mounted close to each other and are connected to the frame by clamping devices from which the supports can be easily removed by simple handles. This leaves room for wire connection (44) to the sockets (4), in spite of the compactness of the box and frame assembly.
