Carburettor with depression dependent throttle flap - has fuel feed regulated by sliding valve operated by cam with hydraulic movement damper

The throttle valve is fitted eccentrically to the carburettor air intake to open according to the prevailing depression. The throttle valve opening movement is limited by a cam (13) acting on rollers (15), pivoted to an arm fixed to the the throttle shaft (17). The carburettor housing contains a venturi downstream to the throttle flap. The venturi is supplied with a fuel mixture controlled by a sliding valve. The sliding valve is moved by a cam (13) which is mechanically coupled to a hydraulic piston brake (23) which is able to retard the cam opening without hidering its closing speed. The cam is released when a stop (44) is actuated by the accelerator depal lever (11).
