<p>To facilitate the manufacture of cable harness comprising a number of conductors held by an insulating tape, threads of insulating material are placed between the conductors and bonded to the insulating tape. Multiple conductor tapes may include conductors (2, 3) which are of different dimensions. The dimensions may also be large in comparison with the thickness of the tapes (4, 5) to which the conductors are bonded. In order to overcome difficulties introduced by this difference, threads of plastic insulating material (6) are used as spacers. The threads are pref. of the same material as the tapes and may additionally be placed outside the outer conductors. To prevent conductor movement in mfr., the threads may also incorporate filaments of glass.</p> |
