<p>The frame which may be a trestle, exhibition stand, etc. has a collapsible structure so that its height can be easily reduced for transport on a trailer or lorry. The frame has a central structure (13) with a strong vertical member (11, 12) each end. At the top and bottom of these verticals is a hinge for lighter end members (1, 2) above and below (3, 4). When these are swung from a horizontal folded position to a vertical position, an upper cross support (5) and lower cross support (6) can be raised and lowered respectively, travelling on rollers. They are then fixed to the extremities of the vertical members (1, 2, 3, 4) to form the extended structure.</p> |
