PURPOSE:To convert a spectrum useful as a recording material, a sensor, etc., by converting a specific metal-containing hydroxyflorin compound into a metal- containing porphyrin or in the reverse direction by the action of an alkali or an acid. CONSTITUTION:The conversion of a spectrum is performed by converting a metal-containing hydroxyflorin compound of formula I [M is Au, Sn or Pd; R is (substituted) aryl] or a metal-containing porphyrin compound of formula II into the compound of formula II or I, respectively, by the action of an alkali or an acid. |
