Activating plastic foil surfaces to improve laminate adhesion - by applying a homogeneous HF spark discharge before lamination

The adhesiveness of plastic foils to be laminated to each another is improved by activating their surfaces by a homogeneous h.f. spark discharge. Surface activation pref. takes place in a continuous process, esp. directly before lamination. Process allows regeneration and activation of highly inactive surfaces, e.g. of PTFE or polypropylene.
