The roller is carried by a 'U' shaped bracket (3) whose base has two openings (5, 6). The openings receive projections (7, 8) which form part of a clamping plate (9). The plate is made from a plastic material and has detents to snap into the openings to form a lock. The clamping plate base facing the roller bracket has two or more grooves (13, 14) to accommodate the rods (16, 17) of a wire basket. The groove depth is equal for all grooves but the width of one groove (14) is greater to compensate for finishing differences. The clamping plate projections are conical in the detent region to facilitate fitting.
