The pushbutton switch-bank, has a locking and release mechanism capable of being modified after assembly of the unit. No special tool will be required. The pushbuttons are mounted on a guide rail with the actuator stems operating against the action of a spring. The guiding blocks (5) which form collars around the stems (3) are made with recesses (14) which mesh with the profile of the blocking and releasing bar (16). The releasing bar is located between fixing rails (1) and passes through hook-shaped projections (9) at right angles to the longitudinal access of the stem.
