In Fig. 1, the upper deck carries anti-slip means (6-8, Fig. 1) whilst in Fig. 8, the upper upper deck has openings 16 therein. In the case where the pallet has fork-receiving mouths formed by pillars, these mouths may be at different levels on different sides of the pallet.
