In the embodiment shown the slashing mechanism 14 is mounted on arms 32 and 34 which are pivoted about their lower ends so that the mechanism can be raised-Fig. 6-for cleaning and repair. Switch mechanism 40 automatically switches the power off when the arms are raised. The skinning mechanism 12 is also guarded by shield 20 and safety bar 98, displacement of which also automatically cuts off the power supply.</p> |
