<p>The beet topping machine rear rotor drive has two or more rotors and a housing with two or more gears which can be either made part of the power transmission system or cut out. The rear rotor can thus be made to run in either direction. The reversing gear housing is mounted on one side of the topping machine, and its output shaft carries the driving member for the rear rotor (6). It can be movable to allow adjustment of the rotor driving hub tension, and can have two or more input shafts alternately accommodating the driving hub, and with pinions meshing together.</p> |
