<p>1512033 Supply circuits for heating apparatus SUTTON & SON (ST HELENS) Ltd 13 May 1976 [15 May 1975] 20659/75 Heading H5H [Also in Divisions H2 and F4] Apparatus for heating liquid in a container comprises heating elements H1-H6 each connected in series with a first switch S A or S B thermostatically controlled by a temperature sensor in the vicinity of the heating elements and a second switch S 1 or S2 thermostatically controlled by a temperature sensor located in the liquid. The heating elements have a maximum working temperature of 600‹ C. but the switches S A , S B open when the elements reach 200‹ C. so that the elements will operate on a wide range of supply voltages. The operating temperature of the liquid thermostats may be pre-set on dials (25), Fig. 1 (not shown).</p> |
