Removal of fodder from flat or mobile silos is by a grab formed by a frame with a ground-side, horizontal tine fork and a cutting tool. This is supported at the end of a beam pivotable by a drive about a vertical pivot shavt. It can be moved up and down by means of a separate drive. The pivot shaft of the beam is arranged in the tractor's travel direction at a distance behind the implements rear wall. A pivot device with a vertical pivot shaft is fitted to the cutting tool and this acts to swivel it out of a position parallel to the tractor's direction of travel into a position which is aligned transversely to the longitudinal centre axis of the beam.
