The adjustably supported saddle pin (1) for a bicycle saddle comprises spring loaded devices (6, 8, 5) which allow free vertical movement of this pin inside the bicycle frame tube (2) within pre-determined limits whilst preventing rotation. It pref. comprises a spring (5) which tends to move the pin to its uppermost position. Thepin may be provided with a number of snap-in recesses (8) capable of being engaged by a spring-loaded latch (6).
