<p>Screw shafts with helical blades are held tight in outer pipes which rotate off rotors during operation. The material rides up the screw as this turns together with the pipes and a top centrifuge ejects liquid. The pipe turns on tyred rollers. In a sloping condition for chemicals handling, the pipe is held centrally in a drive tube with ring which supports the pipe and enclosed feeder screw but allows them to be slid out upward for inspection, repair etc. Polypropylene is suggested as pipe and screw material to combat aggressives.</p> |
