Radioactivity monitor - with integration of semiconductor detector signals of different spectral sensitivity operating threshold trigger

A radioactive radiation monitor consists of several solid state detectors which are simultaneously exposed to the radiation and are so interconnected that their individual spectral sensitivities are compensated. The resulting response signal is thus independent of the spectrum of the incident radiation. After integration in a charge pre-amplifier the resulting signal is used to act directly on the threshold trigger circuit. This monitor combines a uniform accuracy and constant sensitivity with an extremely small volume.
