<p>Each runner (1) is joined to its rocker (2) by three detachable fittings (10, 12). The rocker is joined to the sleigh bearer axle (3) by means of a flexible vibration absorbing damper (4). The damper inner bearing sleeve (5) is fixed to the bearer axle by locking nuts. The outer sleeve (6) is secured to the metal rocker by welding points (7). The two sleeves are bonded to the shock absorber material (4) by valcanisation or similar adhesion. The outer sleeve (6) can be formed as an adjustable clamp (8, 9). Side forces from the metal runners are taken up by two support struts (14) converging on the bearer axle and carried by a clamp (15).</p> |
