<p>The pipe has a branch connection (6) and a Tee adaptor (2). The adaptor has a connecting piece (11) which carries a stop cock (9) with an operating lever (10). The plug is mounted on the stop cock by a flange, and is secured using studs (17). A sleeve (8) of the plug is fitted with a purge connection (12). The plug operating rod (13) passes through the gland (14) and carries the plug (16) at its lower end. An extension to the plug (16) in the form of a spring loaded plunger fits in the hole in the side of the pipe (1).</p> |
