<p>The ignition point adjusting device has a vacuum capsule connected to the inlet manifold. It has a diaphragm which moves against spring pressure, a pull-rod hinged on the contact breaker plate, in accordance with the inlet manifold underpressure. The device contains an ignition angle varying element. Two pressure spring (17, 18) are connected in series in the vacuum capsule (14), and both press from two sides on a movable element (20), so that the stroke and the prestress of at least one spring can be independently adjusted. Pref. the movable element is infinitely variable on a pull-rod (11) extension (23), protruding into the capsule vacuum chamber.</p> |
