摘要

The drum of a rotary vacuum filter has an endless flexible take-off belt with regularl-spaced perforations, divergent towards the drum centre. The belt has a horizontal run immediately after leaving the drum, in which the solid pellets formed in the perforations are removed. Used for pelletising of solids from slurries, partic. for use with iron ore slurries. The system gives a min. degree of mechanical handling of the relatively fragile wet pellets so that little dust or fines are produced.
