<p>The discontinuities on a correction lens having an effective surface made up of a plurality of elements are masked. The masked lens is displaced in a linear direction diagonal to the directions of the discontinuities during exposure of a picture tube screen. The diagonal corners of the mask pattern can be filled in to provide uniform exposure over the screen.</p> |
