The sliding drawer has a bottom with two upright sidewalls joined by a protruding front wall. The joint between each sidewall (2) and the front wall (3) comprise a flat pin (4) of dovetail section on each sidewall, fitting in a mating groove in the inside of the front wall. Each pin can extend from the lower edge of the sidewall to a point short of the upper edge. The upper edge of the groove can be blind and both this and the upper end of the pin can be radiused, so as to form a stop on assembly. The design avoids the risk of the front wall working loose after repeated opening and shutting. |
