<p>The support legs for the camp stool are moulded from plastic, each assembly comprising inner sides fitted with outer covers. The inner sides are flat plates, joined by horizontal spacer bars, each plate having dowels along its length. These are glued into corresponding sockets in the outer covers, two dowel and pivot assemblies each side being hollow to form pivots for folding the seat. A metal reinforcing strip is fitted between each inner side and its outer cover, before these are glued together. Holes are provided in the metal strip, permitting this to pass over the dowels and their sockets.</p> |
