A cap for a pressurized aerosol dispensing container has a cover, portion of which if pivotable to expose the dispensing nozzle and subsequently to actuate the valve. As shown the cap 2 engages the container by a lip 4 and has a pivoted cover 10 formed with a cam surface 13 for actuating the valve button 8. Lateral movement is prevented by a wall 14. In a modification the cap has a part spherical portion on which a part spherical cover is pivoted. The valve may be of the tilting type, or axially displaceable in which case guides are provided. In a further modification the cover is hemispherical and the valve button may be guided by the pivot pin passing through a slot in the button. |
