摘要 Highly chlorinated hydrocarbons having one to three carbons such as CCl4, C2Cl6 and C3Cl8 are reacted with HF in the presence of a fluorination catalyst such as gamma aluminum fluoride. The effluent is reacted with unhalogenated or underhalogenated hydrocarbons having 1 to 3 carbons, such as CH4, CH3Cl, C2H5 Cl, C2H6, CH2=CHCl and CFCl=CCl2, and O2 in the presence of an oxychlorination catalyst, such as cupric chloride with alkali halide or alkaline earth halide promoters on alpha aluminum fluoride. Fluorocarbons having 1 to 3 carbons such as CCl2F2, C2Cl3F3 and C2Cl2F4 are separated from the effluent. Preferably, highly chlorinated materials are recycled onto the fluorination catalyst and underhalogenated materials are recycled onto the oxychlorination catalyst.
