LOST MOTION SUSPENSION SYSTEM FOR OPERABLE PARTITIONS

The suspension system is for sliding partition walls and consists basically of a number of separate panels, an overhead runner and a pair of supports connecting each panel with the runner. Each of the panels has a groove extending right across it near to its upper edge. The supports of each of the panels have a small pulley mechanism moving in the respective panel grooves, supporting the panels from the overhead runner. The panel supports have a horizontal spring connection with the panels so as to reduce longitudinal travel in relation to the panel groove.
