<p>The tool has a cutting insert attached to a holder. The insert (2) is fixed by a flexible component (3) which, on its end facing the unit has an outwards conically widening part. At its other end it has a diametrically enlarged section (6) which engages in a blind hole (9) of the holder (1). The dia. of the fixture component, before being inserted in the holder, is larger than the dia. of the cutting unit fixture aperture and is also larger than the dia. of a fixture hole in the holder. The enlargement in the end part of the fixture component is formed by a belled out section.</p> |
