PURPOSE:To produce industrially the metallized film with high adhesion by a method in which the layer of inorganic substance is provided on one surface of an aromatic polyimide film, and a metal-deposited layer is provided on the other surface thereof, and then metallic plating is applied thereonto. CONSTITUTION:As the inorganic substance constituting the coating layer 2 of inorganic substance which has been provided on one surface of an aromatic polyimide film, metal oxide, noble metal, alkali earth metal and transition metal, etc., may be used, and especially the metal oxide such as silicon oxide is preferable. The metal-deposited layer 3 to be formed on the front surface of the film is formed by the physical and chemical process such as vacuum deposition by using the metal similar to that of the rear surface. The metal- plated layer 4 to be provided on the metal-deposited layer 3 is preferably a thick layer. |
