The hand basin has an overflow opening which houses a detergent dispensing nozzle. The detergent is held in a container and it is dispensed for cleaning the bowl. The bowl is made of thermoplastics of high hardness and impact resistance. This material may also contain reinforcement and a pigment. The container (3) for detergent is made from highly flexible plastics material which is transparent or translucent. This container is held in clip for ease of replacement. The detergent is transferred by a pump (4) into bowl.
