Half mould mounting - with pre-tensed springs to distribute closing pressure

Designed for use when shaping polystyrene foam, the pre-tensed springs on the guide beams for the static mould half take up the closing pressure when the other half mould is moved in the closing and sealing movement. The purpose is to ensure that the gap between the two half moulds is fully closed preventing any material escaping during foaming which would develop undesired flash on the moulded body.
