Dry method of cement mfr. using a preheater heated with exhaust gas from a tubular rotary kiln, and a collection chamber where particles are partly calcined, then introduced into the kiln. The clinker produced is cooled with fresh air followed by sec. air in the furnace, and calcining chamber. The novelty is that the fresh air is passed several times through the clinker layer, before being introduced into the hot zone of the precooler. This is divided into 2 parts at different temps., one >1000 degrees C and the other contg. the sec. air, at a lower temp. The temp. of the air in the hot zone of the preheater can be increased from the 850-900 degrees C used in prior art.
|
