Securing unit for mine cutting machine hauling chains - has pipe guide with tubular ring and locking wedges fixed by chains

Securing unit for hauling chains esp. of cutting machine movable along face conveyor in mine has pipe guides (2) movable along the guide pipe (1) in the longitudinal direction of the face. The guides have tubular rings (5) which accommodate the chain (4) and are positioned on the top of vertically extended webs (3) which are coupled to the pipe guides (2) themselves. The rings have arresting units in the form of locking wedges (10) which are fixed to the rings (5) by means of chain (9) or similar attachments. Each web (3) has a U-shaped end which fits over the upward projection (11) on the pipe guide and to which it is swivelably coupled by a connection bolt (7).
