Spreadable coating compsn. - contains a thickener esp. methyl cellulose and a solventless primer

A spreadable coating compsn. e.g. adhesives, dispersion paints contg. a thickener (I) or a workability improving agent (II) esp. the cellulose also contains a solventless primer (III) such as an air drying or modified natural oil or a natural or synthetic resin. The compsn. contains is not 0.2-0.3 wt. % (I) or (II). Surfaces can be simultaneously primed and coated and then dried or hardened. Although the compsn. contains no solvents the primer is able to penetrate the surface well. Storage of the compsn. is simpler and during coating there are no toxic or flammable vapours.
