<p>An alpha,beta-olefinically unsatd. 3 - 5C carboxylic acid and/or an ester of a similar acid with a 1 - 4C alkanol is copolymerised with (a) a 1,1-dialkylallylalcohol having 1 - 4C alkyls and (b) small quantities of another olefinically unsatd. cpd. The mixtures is heated to >=110 degrees C in the presence of higher b.pt. solvents and volatile products are distilled off. Products may be mixed with pigments, dyes, fillers etc. or with other natural and synthetic resins, for use e.g. in floor-care compsns.</p> |
