The ignition point vacuum dependent advance/retard mechanism has a diaphragm with a pull-rod, dividing a vacuum box into two vacuum chambers. A bellows (21) forms a seal against the atmosphere in the adjacent vacuum chamber (19) as a bushing (32) for the pull-rod. Preferably the bellows is located transversely to the pull-rod (17) stroke. The flange at the bellows end is secured to the housing bottom (30) of the first vacuum chamber (18). Its other end in the form of a plate (25) with an aperture (26) is fastened on the pull-rod in the region of the diaphragm (14). The bellows may have grooves (22), with a ring (23) force-fitted in each groove.
|
