1384192 Ventilators TROX GmbH GEBR 18 Jan 1973 [21 Jan 1972] 2740/73 Heading F4V A damper comprises simultaneously operable pivotally mounted slats 2 each having pins 3 received in apertures in a frame 1 and a pin 4 which passes through a slot in the frame 1 and is received in an arcuate guide slot 6 in a slide 5, the slots 6 extending alternately in opposite directions from a plane including the axes of rotation of the slats 2 whereby immediately adjacent slats 2 rotate in opposite directions upon displacement of the slide 5. The slide 5 is a channel-shaped member held against the frame 1 by brackets 7. A resilient plastics tube is provided between the frame 1 and the slide 5 or pins 3 to hold the slats 2 in any adjusted position. Each slat is formed by doubling a sheet formed with pressed semi-circular protrusions (2b, 2c, Fig. 6), to define the pins 3 and 4. |
