<p>The slit metal is moved over two stretching arms while the sides of the material slide over the diverging edges as the material is being stretched. The stretching arms are mounted on a dividing frame so that the angle between the edges of the arm can be adjusted. The dividing frame is mounted on a main frame by adjustable connections, which enable the dividing frame to be swung about an axis which runs in the direction in which the strip moves over the arms.</p> |
