<p>A special tray for prepared meals is made of moulded plastic material, and deep in section so certain items of food can be retained in suitable compartments at one end. The tray can be stacked even with the food in these compartments. The other end is hollow and has a metal container housed inside, to hold one or more food items. The container is fixed in place, and is intended to be used in association with a high frequency oven for cooking the food inside. The container is surrounded by an insulation layer so that the remainder of the food at the other end is not affected by the heat.</p> |
